Stock screener questions
What is a stock screener?
A screener shows the Tehran Stock Exchange and IFB symbols that meet your conditions. For example, symbols with a P/E under 8, or whose monthly sales grew more than 30% on the same month last year.
How do fundamental and technical filters differ?
Fundamental filters read the company's financial data: monthly reports, the income statement, operating revenue, financial ratios and the commodity exchange. Technical filters read daily trading, such as retail money flow, buyer power, traded value and price change.
How is Fundai different from writing filters on tsetmc?
On Fundai you write no code and pick conditions from lists. tsetmc filters read trading data and, of the financial data, only EPS and P/E, while Fundai also filters monthly reports, the income statement, margins and financial ratios.
Where does the data come from?
Financial statements and monthly reports are read from Codal, trading figures from the market, and product trades from the commodity exchange. When each kind of data was last updated is shown beside the results.
Is the screener free?
Without a package you run one condition at a time, with some options open. The fundamental filters package opens every option for one condition, and the mixed filters package runs several conditions together.
Can I save my filter?
Yes. Once signed in, save any filter under a name to run it again on fresh data whenever you like. You can also send its link to others.
Does Fundai recommend stocks?
No. A filter only shows the symbols that meet your conditions. Buying and selling is your decision.
